As a child, going for water in the Oasis, María (or Meryem) couldn’t have imagined how her life would change. There, in Sahara, she lived happily; until the caravans stopped coming, and her father Yunan, known as the Tuareg was forced to emigrate to find work. A short time later, Yunan's letters stop arriving and the problems started. Meryem decides to go and find him. Her journey will be fraught with perils. From surviving the shipwreck of the raft to dealing with the mafia that extort money from the immigrants and it’s leader Abdel Azid… who it seems her father has crossed with.
