Daniel is an introvert but he is an exceptionally precocious and sensitive teenager with an enigmatic personality and a true gift for drawing. Daniel has an alter ego in his comic books, Mr. Cristal, who is as invisible as he is at school where he goes unnoticed. But, this invisibility does not prevent him from trying to help those in need. Profesor Furia is the new literature teacher at Ana Frank’s High school. He has a bad temper; any little setback sparks his anger and he is furious with the whole world. But, Daniel perceives that this is just a face which only hides pain. Trying to reach the teacher will become a real nuisance, especially because Daniel is right: Julián Echevarría plunged into a great depression after an accident and now he is only a shadow, a solitary man with a disordered life who can only find pleasure in drinking.
