Marta Gene Camps was attracted to stories since she was little. For this reason, she decided to study Audiovisual Communication at the Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona, ​​the city where she was born. Her love for journalism transformed into a true passion for cinema, which led her to pursue a Master's Degree in Film Direction at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, with a Fulbright scholarship. During this time, she directed five short films, two of which she was also the screenwriter. She currently resides in Los Angeles, where she works at Sony-Columbia studios as creative director of the production company of Sid Ganis, current president of the United States Film Academy. From this position, she has had the opportunity to collaborate in the development of various film and television projects.
