Ediciones Don Bosco (Grupo edebé) is a publishing house located in Barcelona (Spain), devoted to publishing school textbooks and also literature for children and young adults.
More than a hundred years of experience and thousands of books published mean that our group is a point of reference in the field of literature in education and for children and young adults. |

Our headquarters are in Barcelona and from here we publish books in Spanish and in Catalan. But in order to deal with the multilingual reality in our country, edebé expanded and established a further four publishing centres within Spain: Giltza in the Basque Country, Rodeira in Galicia, Marjal in Valencia and Guadiel in Andalucia. The group also has two warehouses and more than twelve commercial branches with its subsidiary offices.
We also have publishing houses in South America in Argentina (e.d.b.), Chile and Mexico. |

At the beginning of the 1990s, edebé embarked on a very solid literary project that included readers for children of all ages. Now edebé has several collections such as Tren azul, Tucán azul, Tucán verde, Periscopio, Nómadas… Some of these collections have already reached 100 titles and have obtained several national and international awards (IBBY, National Children’s and Young Adult Literature Prize, CCEI, White Ravens…).
Moreover, in order to enrich the catalogue, in 1993 the company promoted the edebé children’s and young adult literature award acknowledged as being one of the most prestigious in our country given the solid, skilled range of writers who have already won it, in some cases acting as a springboard for their writing career (see the list in our catalogue).
