Biography
Besora Oliva, Ramón

Ramon Besora Oliva is teacher, editor and writer. He has exercised several times as a teacher, has actively collaborated in the training of teachers and has been part of the Rosa Sensat institution. He is the author of various publications and articles on teaching, children's creativity, reader construction, poetry, experimentation and has also written numerous titles of children's literature. He has been president of the Catalan Council of Children's and Young Adult Literature, member of the jury of various literary awards, such as the National Children's Literature award of the Ministry of Culture, Lazarillo award, Children's and Young Adult Literature award of the Generalitat of Catalonia. He has coordinated seminars and symposiums, such as the Symposium of the Catalonia International award for Illustration. He has been awarded both national and international awards for his various teaching activities and for his six publications. Among them are: Baldiri Reixac Award, for his six contributions in the field of language teaching, and the Octogone d'Honneur, awarded by the Center International d'Études en Littérature de Jeunesse de Paris. The six editions of it have been awarded with the Critici in Erba award at the Bologna Fair and with the International Innovation award also in Bolonia. Currently he is president of the Association of the poet Martí i Pol.
