Lola is ten years old and she loves playing football, but her parents have signed her up for violin classes instead. She has a brother, Gracián, who is a genius, and can play the piano. Lola loves her brother but lives in his shadow because if there is anything that Lola sees anything clearly, and tries to make the others understand, it is that she is not her brother. She is someone else with different likes and interests. With her father as a musician and her mother as a music teacher it is clear that they favour her brother’s interests. Far from feeling crushed, Lola fights to get what she wants, to get away from what her parents want her to do and to just be herself.
