The little gypsy girl, the main character of the first of the twelve stories, is funny, ingenious and charming. We follow her and a group of gypsies through the streets of Madrid and along the roads of Castile and Murcia. The English Spaniard is a love story about Isabela, a Spanish girl who is taken by an English captain and who lives her teenage years in London. It is also a story full of adventures, including a battle at sea, betrayal, envy, love and captivity. It is a mixture of heroic scenes with moments full of feelings and emotion.
