Marta lives in Betulia, a tiny country where nothing ever happens. She cares about things typical for girls her age: the musical group Euphoria, spending time with her friends, and things like that. For her, politics are completely boring, until one day, in a bid to out-do her arch-rival at school, she enters the race to be student-body president. However, a huge misunderstanding leads the people of Betulia, who are fed up with the same old political leaders, to vote for Marta. But not to be student-body president.... but to be president of the country!
