Gómez Cerdá, Alfredo
<b>Alfredo Gómez Cerdá </b>was born in Madrid. His first steps were into the theatre. In 1982 he discovered children's literature and felt powerfully attracted to it. Since then he has published over a hundred books for different targets from young readers to adults. He has received some awards: Premio Altea, Lazarillo, El Barco de Vapor, Il Paese dei Bambini (in Italy), ASSITEJ-España (theatre), Fray Luis de León, Gran Angular, Ala Delta, White Raven (in 6 occasions), Premio Hache, Anaya, Cuatrogatos (Miami).
