Anaïs Baranda Barrios (Madrid, 1983) studied Audiovisual Communication and has a Master's degree in Radio and Television Journalism. She likes cinema and storytelling. For many years she has worked in different media. She has been writing since she was a child, although for a while she had writing on hold, until 2015, when she wrote a play targeted at a children's audience for an association. As a result of that play, a friend encouraged her to take up storytelling again. She enrolled in her first Creative Writing course, then came more and then specialised in Children's and Young Adult Literature. She has a blog of literary reviews and collaborates in a radio programme making recommendations of YA literature. Now, in addition to writing, she is doing a Master's degree specialising in the teaching of Creative Writing and is preparing workshops for children and adults.
