David Guirao

David Guirao (Zaragoza, 1973) has been dedicated to illustration for more than fifteen years. He has created graphic material for billboards, educational games, animation, storyboards and even the famous Fallas (pyrotechnic figures and displays typical from the festivity called Fallas, in Valencia, Spain).  But what he most enjoys drawing is the world of books.

He has illustrated many classic works as Leyendas, from Gustavo Adolfo Becqker, Don Quixote from Miguel de Cervantes, or La Celestina from Fernando de Rojas. He has also collaborated with contemporary authors. Recently he illustrated Fábulas by Madgalena Lasala or El jardín de Ulises by Soledad Puértolas. Other published books are Saint George and the dragon, with Daniel Nesquens, El libro de Oriana, by Nacho Escuín, and Moscogonía de las estrellas, written by Isabel Soria.
