Francesc Rovira was born in Barcelona in 1958 as part of a large family. He studied at the Escuela de Artes y Oficios in the Catalan capital, although he actually learned his profession by his own. Francesc has illustrated hundreds of stories for numerous publishers, as well as magazines dedicated to the world of children. He has also had several solo and group exhibitions and has won the CCEI award on two occasions.
