Sierra i Fabra, Jordi
JORDI SIERRA I FABRA (Barcelona, ​​1947) began writing at the age of eight and at twelve he decided that his vocation was to be a novelist. However, seduced by rock music, he began his professional career as director of some of the most influential music magazines in Spain. He has published more than sixty history books and biographies of rock artists, and has simultaneously cultivated all literary genres: children's stories, young adult and adult novels, science fiction, humor, poetry, film scripts... His works have obtained the most prestigious awards, including the National Award. He is one of the greatest representatives of children's and young adult literature in our country, and his success in Latin America is even greater. He currently directs the Jordi Sierra i Fabra Foundation (in Barcelona) and the Taller de Letras (in Medellín), to promote the literary vocation among young writers.
